1: Español es facil!

Hola!!!! Como estan uds????

I need to apologize first and say we aren't allowed to take pictures except for P Days (today) and we aren't allowed to send pictures the whole time we are here :( so beware that I will be sending a mass of pictures 5 weeks from now.

The first few days here were kind of slow, we got to the CCM at 6 in the morning so they gave us time to rest and unpack. That afternoon we started classes and seriously the whole rest of the week has been a blur. I sit down to write and my journal every night and cant remember anything that happened!!

There are about 100 missionaries here right now, about 30 of which speak English. We are divided by Norteamericanos and Latinos. No matter where you're from, if you speak English you are Norteamericano and if you only speak spanish you are a Latino. We all sit together at meals and talk to each other in Spanish and the first few days were pretty comical but now we can carry on some good conversations! Me and my companions are very very good friends now with Hnas Osuna and Paredes.

Speaking of companions, I am in a trio! Haha they told us there was supposed to be another Hermana coming with us but I guess she didnt show up last minute! Their names are Hermana Mickelson and Hermana Loosli. (sorry I cant send pictures if you want to facebook stalk them their names are Abi/Abigail Mickelson and Allison Loosli).

I am in Districto Isaias and en serio it is the best district in the CCM. We have tons of fun together.

Sunday es lo mejor dia en el CCM. It was fast and testimony meeting so almost our ENTIRE district got up and bore our testimonies in front of all the missionaries IN SPANISH! Seriously we are on fire week one.

And guess what??? There are approximately TWO piano players in the whole CCM! So guess who played the piano their first sunday???? Hna Morgan!!!!!

Also sorry mom, this is the best Ive been fed my whole life. SO MUCH FOOD. And it is SO GOOD. Every time we eat I feel like Im going to explode but I cant get enough of it. They told us day one that we would probably gain weight but they do that on purpose because we will be walking so much once we get to our missions.

So far there is only one other missionary going to Tegucigalpa but there will likely be more coming in two weeks since natives only spend 3 weeks in the CCM.

I love being a missionary, I am so happy all the time. From day one I felt really strongly the need to obey with exactness, and as I do that, the Spanish comes easier, our lessons go smoother, and its easier to talk with the Latinos. Honestly I don't understand the reason for some of the rules in the CCM but I can already see the blessings from obeying and working diligently.

Love you all so much! I am so happy to be here and thankful to all of you for being in my life.

Hasta Luego!
